Hurricane Preparedness: Strengthening Libraries’ Resiliency

Attendees will gain an overview of the current best practices in library hurricane preparedness, response, and toolkits. We share how libraries leverage information and communication technologies to assist affected communities in coping with crisis coordination, social support, and pragmatic resource monitoring. We conclude with an opportunity for participants to not only share their reactions to our research results but also share their rich experiences participating and leading resiliency efforts across Florida.
