2020 Poster Sessions Mining data in Florida's Extinct Cities
Intended Audience
Academic Libraries, Technical Services and Cataloging Departments, Special Services Departments
Poster Summary and Objectives
Name Authority Records (NARs) contain a great deal of information which can be used in data-mining. Changes with RDA now allow us to include many more fields, including subject headings in these records. Examples of the Extinct Cities of North Florida will be used to show how these fields can be leveraged to locate primary source materials.
