Session Description

As cosplay becomes more prevalent in pop culture, so does a teen’s interest in it. With sewing, painting, costume design, hairstyling and budgeting all somewhat involved in crafting a cosplay, the biggest question on a teen’s mind is usually “Where do I start?” and that’s where libraries can come in! This program will inform attendees what cosplay is, the various ways a teenager can cosplay, and provide various ideas and resources to assist teens looking to research costume creation and fabrication.
