Reassessing the Rare Book Collection at UNF

Poster Summary and Objectives

The poster will describe a project conducted at UNF to inventory, evaluate and reprocess the rare book collection in Special Collections. The Resource Description Librarian worked with the Head of Special Collections to evaluate books and retain titles important to the research mission of the University, which in turn allowed Special Collections to lead forward with collection development in the library. The poster will outline the steps of the project, outcomes of the project, and lessons learned.
