Colleen Boff, Bowling Green State University

Dr. Colleen Boff has worked at Bowling Green State University (BGSU) since 1999. She began her career as the First Year Experience Librarian. In this capacity, she integrated information literacy into the first year curriculum and contributed to a variety of initiatives designed to retain and support first-year students. She was acting Instruction Coordinator a number of times and Chair of the Department of Library Teaching and Learning before serving as Interim Associate Dean of University Libraries. She was the Associate Dean of University Libraries at BGSU from 2012 through 2017. After eight years in Library administration, Colleen chose to return to the library faculty to pursue her love of teaching and research. She currently serves as the Head Librarian of the Curriculum Resource Center and works with a team of three to provide outreach and instruction primarily to the students and faculty in the College of Education and Human Development. In these capacities, Colleen has contributed to or been at the forefront of leading change in her organization at the department level, library level, and university level.

Catherine Cardwell, University of South Florida Saint Petersburg

Catherine Cardwell is the Dean of the Nelson Poynter Memorial Library at the University of South Florida Saint Petersburg. Her responsibilities include providing leadership for and fiscal oversight of the library, online learning, and instructional technology services. In July 2017, the Library completed a new strategic plan and is in the process of implementing it. Before joining USFSP in 2016, Catherine served as Director of Libraries at Ohio Wesleyan University. She was a member of the steering committee overseeing the Five Colleges of Ohio Andrew W. Mellon Grant—Digital Collections: from Projects to Pedagogy and Scholarship. From 1998 to 2011, Catherine was a member of the library faculty at Bowling Green State University, where she was instruction coordinator and chair of the Department of Library Teaching and Learning. Her interests include integrating information literacy and digital scholarship into the curriculum, creating dynamic and contemporary user-centered teaching and learning spaces (both physical and online), and leadership in academic libraries.
